As I’m sure you’ve already read or figured out, I’m very new to this blogging thing. I am still finding my feet and, as such, this blog is definitely not a money maker. In fact, it’s currently a money taker and, as much as I’m enjoying blogging, losing money is not the goal. To help offset costs and, maybe in the future to possibly make a little pocket money, I’m trying my
hand at some of the more common ways to bring in a little revenue while doing something I love. I’ll be using some affiliate links and exploring options for ads in both text link and photo/banner formats, but, I’ll always give a heads up when a post contains links that may pay me for the referral. Right now, I'm dabbling in the Amazon Affiliates program and looking into trying out Google AdSense. I'll do my best to pop over here and add more info, if that changes. For giveaways and freebies, if I have not personally purchased the giveaway item, I will mention the gifter in the post and provide a link whenever possible. If you’re wondering if bloggers give false reviews to get sales, I’m sure some do, but, I can honestly tell you that I will NEVER do this. I would rather make no money at all or keep on paying to blog than have to live with knowing I lied to make a quick buck. Any reviews or recommendations I make will be 100% my own and 100% true. I’m open to the possibility of monetizing the blog, not selling my soul to the highest bidder. Please rest assured that I will strive to keep every post made, whether it has links or not, as real and honest as I possibly can.
